Broad Comm Inc. began as Broadcast Communications. The name is descriptive of the original projects that Broad Comm was initially founded to create.
Broad Comm, Inc. commenced operations in 1997, following the successful broadcast conclusion of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. Louis Libin, Broad Comm President, was the Chairman of the Frequency Coordination Committee managing one of the most complex broadcasting events in United States history.
The success of the 1996 communications at the Atlanta Olympic Games aided in defining the Broad Comm vision. “Assist broadcasters with wireless design and spectrum management, and pursue new technologies that will enhance wireless transmission”.
Since it’s launch, the company has amassed many successful experiences, positioning Broad Comm as a world leader in wireless technology. Broad Comm has been involved in almost every major broadcast event in the US including NBA All Star, NFL Super Bowls, US Opens, Golf and Tennis, Democratic and Republican conventions, Presidential Inauguration and more.
Broad Comm also pioneered the development and deployment of a complex public safety database that was integrated with a radio transmission system. The system, one of the first of it’s kind, is used by the New York Police for dispatch and records management, and was an integral part of the 9/11 rescue efforts.
Broad Comm has used its technological know-how, network, and management skills to propel young technology companies to success in higher stages by raising funds, creating marketing plans, and through introductions to Fortune 500 strategic partners. |
